founded in 1952, prides itself with its long and rich tradition of Academic Excellence through the legacy of its founder, Dr. Jose P. Laurel, who became the third president of the Philippines and holds the distinction of occupying the three branches of government during his government service.

The University envisions itself as a leading university in the Asia-Pacific region, dedicated to the development of the integral individual who constantly seeks the truth and acts with fortitude in service to God and country.

More than 14,000 students are currently enrolled in LPU’s tourism, hospitality, hotel and culinary arts management, and health and wellness programmes, which are offered at the College of International Tourism & Hospitality Management (CITHM) in four campuses, located in Manila, Laguna, Cavite and Batangas.

The Colleges offer state of the art facilities including the 57-room hotel, The BayleafIntramuros, and the four-storeyLPU Culinary Institute opened by the Manila campus in September 2011.  They have a strong partnership with DusitThaniPublic Company, including DustiThaniCollege and DusitThaniManila.
